David McEwen, a Scotsman who now resides in the South of France, lives up to the Scottish tradition of great storytelling through his narrative paintings. His work has won numerous prestigious awards and International Artist named him a "Master Painter of the World”. In 1997 McEwen and his wife moved to a 13th century town in the South of France.
